Confidence begins with support.
One mother’s story. A shared belief in women’s possibilities.

Sambo’s story
In Siem Reap, Sambo joined a mothers’ group supported by World Vision. Two sessions on nutrition and breastfeeding, alongside guidance from health workers, helped her make informed choices for her baby, Sothea.
World Vision’s 2024 story describes a mother planning to return to work while continuing to breastfeed. Her journey shows what knowledge, practical care and community support can make possible.
